"This is easily one of my favourite artworks we sell at Art Republic. I love how Richard takes something we have all seen countless times - a telephone on a sparse hotel nightstand - and presents it as a captivating exploration of highly saturated colour."
"I love the way that Richard represents the British love for all things Americana, as Chichester captures the experience of an old school Hollywood drive-in cinema in this photograph."
"I've always been a fan of an eye-catching artwork, and it doesn't get any brighter than Richard Heep's magenta pick 'Ices' print. This photograph has me nostalgic for days on the beach with an ice cream in one hand and spade in the other. I love how Richard has the power to evoke such strong nostalgia with his simple yet effective photographs. And who can resist a 99 with a flake?"
"This print weirdly is not about California for me, but rather the timeless faded high streets of towns in the British Columbia interior of Canada. Revelstoke and Nelson in particular, where the juxtaposition between original weatherboard buildings, horse styles (still in use) and the looming mountains of the background could capture your attention for hours!"
"My favourite Richard Heeps artwork has to be Joshua Tree. I love the contrast between the insanely beautiful colours of the sunset and the almost eerie form of the tree. It's pretty hypnotic I could look at it for hours!"
"I love Salt, Pepper & Vinegar, Clacton-on-Sea. In terms of the photograph itself, it's clean and simple, with the shallow depth of field drawing attention directly to the subject. But the most important thing for me is the subject itself - salt, white pepper and vinegar in those very vessels were a staple of my culinary childhood, and they especially remind me of weekly trips to my Nanny and Grandad's house for pie, mash and liquor - still one of my favourite dinners to this day."
"I love the pinkish-red wash of light that is being cast from the diner onto the desert-esque landscape. There is a real juxtaposition of bold artificiality and muted nature. I can't get enough of it."
"Space is definitely my favourite Richard Heeps print. It brings back memories of the early 2000's and the first time I visited Ibiza."
"I love Wendy's classic turquoise car and her effortless style! The turquoise and pink really pops in this photograph - I adore the colour. I absolutely love the barbies too just scattered around her car, it's such a nostalgic twist."
“I love how this limited edition photograph by Richard Heeps captures Wendy’s attitude and style so effortlessly. I’m also very jealous of her Cowboy hat...”
"I love that the Thrills by Richard Heeps has a really dreamlike feel to it. The old fairground ride really comes to life against the bright blue sky, and the colours have a beautiful faded quality to them that gives the print a real sense of nostalgia."
"I love the childlike joy in this artwork by Richard Heeps. The bright blues remind me of sunny days spent by the pool on holiday. Who knew that a roadside sign could be so entertaining?"
"It's like the pool in Richard Heep's 'Palm Springs Poolside III' is inviting me to jump right in. I love the saturated colour palette and calming nature of this photograph."
