"I love Salt, Pepper & Vinegar, Clacton-on-Sea. In terms of the photograph itself, it's clean and simple, with the shallow depth of field drawing attention directly to the subject. But the most important thing for me is the subject itself - salt, white pepper and vinegar in those very vessels were a staple of my culinary childhood, and they especially remind me of weekly trips to my Nanny and Grandad's house for pie, mash and liquor - still one of my favourite dinners to this day."
