Adam is a contemporary artist living and working in Cambridgeshire. Combining nostalgia and wit, Adam’s typographic works reflect on a shared British memory and identity. His naive style references childhood paint by number sets and colouring books, instilling in his works an overriding sense of youthful joy.

We love how Adam’s combination of emblematic images and text play on shared occasions, making his works accessible to all. Drawing from the shared British memories of trips to the seaside and rainy summer days, Adam’s work reminds us to appreciate every moment, as time soon passes us by.
After studying Print and Photomedia at Norwich School of Art and Design, Adam then went on to graduate from the Royal College of Art in 2006 with a Masters in Fine Art. Adam received his first major commission from Commissions East in 2009, and has since had a successful career exhibiting his work across the world. His artwork is held in the collections of The British Museum and the V&A, and he has completed a series of projects for companies such as YouTube, Comme Des Garcons, Soho House and Unilever.
