Fauvism was an art movement where that main body of work was produced in only a few short years (1905 to 1908). The style featured colours that were intensely vivid and non natural. Key Fauvism artists included Henri Matisse, Raoul Dufy and Georges Braque. Although initially mocked by critics, the movement became very influential on 20th century art.
