This is a museum quality art print based on an original work about Knives by Pop Artist Andy Warhol
In the 1980’s Warhol produced a series of works featuring Knives a continuation of the ongoing theme of the macabre that has fun through all his works. Working with Polaroid photographs of household kitchen knives he created a series of both positive and negative silkscreen images. These images are both a celebration of the object as well as carrying ominous undertones of the danger of the object and the violence that can be involved in. This is images has two sets of knives one positive image and one negative in black and silver.
