Shadow Floating is a method used to beautifully mount artwork onto a foam core using Artcare™ Restore™, a fully archival and reversible mount. The result is the artwork appearing to float securely upon a backing mount board - creating a wonderful shadow. Our top recommendation when framing artwork with deckled edges (hand-torn).

Float Mounting is a method used to beautifully mount artwork directly onto a backing mount board. The result is the artwork sitting upon a backing mount board with a 3cm distance between the inside of the frame profile and the edge of the paper (Our top recommendation when framing artwork with deckled edges ‘beautifully hand-torn’).

    Details

For contemporary, fine-art print-maker, Emma Reynolds, the sky’s the limit; quite literally. Her artworks are characterised by a fascination with playful and experimental processes that translate sky to canvas, capturing the light, ethereal qualities of the celestial screen within the limits of the printed work.

A golden dawn lifts its head above a frost-covered London, as a perfectly placid Primrose Hill rolls towards the capital’s iconic skyline, a semi-spiritual significance bathed in the light of the early morning sun. A beautiful tribute to London, Reynolds artfully captures the crisp chill of winter - and the promise of a breaking day.
