This black and white print features American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. on August 28, 1963 speaking to almost a quarter of a million people, delivering his world famous speech "I have a dream." This is a defining moment in the civil rights struggle of the 1960s. Such was the power of his speeches and what he achieved, that in 1964, he was the youngest person ever awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, sadly he would be assassinated shortly after on the 4th April 1968 in Memphis.
