    Details

    Warhol first painted the dollar sign in the 1960’s and returned to it in the 1980’s creating a whole series of single and multiple $ signs. He used the silkscreen printing technique to reproduce his images over and over again creating a machine aesthetic to his work he even called his studio the Factory.
