‘Conundrum - Dare To Destroy’ is a three colour hand-pulled Screen Print by contemporary artist Non-Conformist.
Printed onto 270gsm Smith Colorplan Paper, each print is uniquely hand finished - you can choose from customisations including burns, cuts, distressing, folds, tears, ink, pencil, and spray paint. No two prints will be the same.
Anonymous artist Non-Conformist works at the cutting edge of contemporary print-making, producing pieces that push at the boundaries of art. Taking found objects - often with a consumerist element - Non-Conformist questions our aesthetic sensibilities with a staunch refusal to conform to the expectations of twenty-first century visual art.
‘Conundrum - Dare To Destroy’ is a semi-interactive piece of print work, inspired by the British code-breaking team at Bletchley Park who, during WWII, cracked the Enigma code. Featuring incomprehensible layers of text - from hand-written mathematical jottings, to typewritten reams of lettering - each print features foil scratch card sections and the option to customise the work with a series of destructive forces, from burns to tears, to folds, ink traces and distressing.
A truly innovative piece of contemporary art, the only question that remains is, how far are you prepared to go? Will your curiosity be the death of the art…?
