Simon Patterson

Simon Patterson was short listed for the Turner Prize in 1996 and his art work has exhibited at Tate Modern in London, the Museum Of Modern Art in New York and many other prominent galleries worldwide. He is perhaps best known for his art work The Great Bear, a subversive take on the London Underground map, where the station names have been replaced by philosophers, saints, film stars and other celebrities.
