This signed and numbered artwork is printed on Minuet fine art paper with hand-torn deckled edges.‘Universal’ is a print of an original collage based on a vintage film still of old Hollywood stars Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds. In a way, if he had asked, who knows, I might have married him – but he never asked...”Maria Rivans often appropriates imagery from popular culture and classic films. “The fun element is an important element” explains Maria, but her work also explores deeper themes such as feminism, psychology, and the nature of modern day communication.Discover more in our article:Super Vision: Bonnie and Clyde vs Maria Rivans
