John Everett Millais was a pioneering British painter and co-founder of the Pre- Raphaelite Art movement. As a child prodigy, Millais was the youngest ever student to enter the prestigious Royal Academy School at just age 11. Rejecting High Renaissance art, John Everett Millais developed a powerful form of realism in his art prints.
