Betty Boo is a lovely little glazed ceramic mosaic. The image features an almost medieval, mystical, scene with serpents and dragons with only one twist – Betty Boos head sits upon the half dragon, half woman figure in the centre. It is framed in the most amazing original Masonic wood frame complete with Masonic symbology and the plaque for one Arthur Roberts belonging to the Eccleshill Lodge from 1896. A truly bizarre, but magnificent original artwork.Unlike others producing ceramics, all of Carries work is placed in her kiln, fired with a glaze to once again return the item back to a usable piece of ceramic. Most of the artists three dimensional pieces have been fired many times as many of the glazing and transfer techniques she uses mean a traditional approach to her ceramics is required. Our London gallery can also arrange delivery of this piece throughout South-East England, for details of this service, please click here.Click these words to find similar printsFrom our Galleries
