About Gajin Fujita

Los Angeles graffiti artist Gajin Fujita fuses Eastern techniques with popular Western urban imagery. Taking influences from his Japanese heritage, Fujita uses stencils of icons such as anime, geishas, flowers, warriors and demons. He layers the Japanese Ukiyo-e imagery on top of the more traditional graffiti the combines U.S Hip Hop culture and Latino graffiti.
