About Edward Poynter

Edward Poynter specialised in historical scenes executed with great precision. Along with contemporaries such as Frederic Leighton and Lawrence Alma-Tadema he was part of the Pre-Raphaelite movement. One of his most popular works was 'Libra and Her Sparrow'.
