We have another of his chalk figures, this time its the chalk horse on Osmington Hill. This particular figure was carved in 1808 to celebrate George III’s patronage of the nearby Dorset port of Weymouth.

There is an interior view of Furlongs a remote shepherd's cottage on the edge of the South Downs near Firle, which became a hive of artistic activity in the 1930s. This image also featured in a recent article in the Guardian newspaper on Eric Ravilious.

Finally there is Train Going over a Bridge at Night, which Ravilious painted of the Colne Valley railway line, close to the  his home in Castle Hedingham.
