The First Real Pop Shoe by Peter Blake are coming to the Brighton gallery very soon ! We are also very excited about the boxes, they are being made as we speak and are going to be fabulous - not just a normal shoe box! These hi-top shoes featuring embroidered motifs on recycled cheque-book wallet leather are a limited edition of 600 and even have the artist’s signature embossed on the back. The design was inspired by the pair Blake wore in his 1961 painting ‘Self-portrait With Badge’s’, belonging to the Tate Collection.
