Peter Blake Brit Award Motifs

It was the Brit Awards this week, undoubtedly a prestigious evening in the British music calendar. For this year’s awards, though, there a double dose of prestige as legendary British pop artist Sir Peter Blake designed the unique statue of Britannia.


Blake is ubiquitous within British music having created some of the most iconic album covers for, most famously of course The Beatles, but also Oasis, Paul Weller, The Who and Ian Dury to name but a few. Blake’s famous original motifs (heart, target, rainbow, star) were featured on the statue and we’ve only a couple of the motif edition remaining including a full set of 4.
