The quality of the draughtsmanship is exceptional and the subject matter is very different compared to much out there on the market at current. The works are signed and some feature annotations and quotations adapted from Leonardo Da Vinci’s sketchbooks (Da Vinci being one of Carne highest influences). It is presented in a bespoke white frame with conservation mount. Stanley Donwood - 'Diamond Heist Bear (Black)'This silkscreen, with the image made up of a thick crust of sparkling diamond dust is the scary bear featured in one of Donwood’s first works for Radiohead's 'Kid A' project, as a symbol of looming danger and shattered expectations. Missum - 'Bermondsey Boy'This is the first work to arrive into the gallery from the female half of internationally recognised art duo Miss Bugs. Missum, as she is independently known, recently held her debut exhibition to much success. This edition of 3 is a Collagraph print, similar in technique to an itching, but much more diverse with the results in terms of texture and gesture marks. The edition is finished with collage and watercolour and features Bermondsey, South London as the backdrop. Framed and float mounted expertly in a white box frame.
