Recommendations from our London gallery on artrepublic.com

The current top three recommendations from artrepublic Soho

Static – ‘Re-Working Old Masters’

We. Love. Static. They put more work, more thought and more effort into their work than many artists combined and their artwork is very reasonable for what you get. They take inspiration from many things, predominantly current affairs, an the execution is always bang on the money. This special edition of ‘Re-Working Old Masters’ has been hand-finished to the hilt and as such is a 1/1. It is signed and for sale unframed with framing options available through the gallery.

Sir Peter Blake – ‘Sources of Pop Art VII’

The last in the monumental series Some of the Sources of Pop Art where Peter Blake explores through images exactly that – his influences, the key players, brands and images that make Pop Art what it is. A hand signed limited edition of 175 this hugely popular and very beautiful work of art is all but gone.

Ben Eine - ‘Twenty First Century City’

Ben Eine has a solo show in L.A. on the horizon and thus must make the gallery recommends grade. He’s been a champion of British street art for ever and makes the walls of east London his personal studio. Plus if Banksy trusted him with his work then that speaks volumes. The man is a legend. ‘Twenty First Century City’ we hope is regarding London, but could be reference to his beloved Hastings. That aside the piece is a hand-sprayed stencil on canvas, is unique and is signed on the reverse.
