Please allow 2 weeks for us to work our magic creating your perfect finishing touch, we’ll then drop you an email with tracking details as soon a your picture is ready for despatch. These are the frames we currently have available and recommend for the artwork on our website: White or black square wood framesAvailable in a choice of two colours, these frames have two distinct types depending on the print you order, the outer frame will be identical, but there will be 1 or 2 subtle differences: For limited editions and rare prints our master framers will hand-craft you a box frame, this gives your picture more depth. Your print will also be placed on acid-free backing to provide the ultimate protection over many years, giving the work the greatest opportunity to remain collectable. For all other prints your hand-crafted framing will include our specialist dry mounting process (see below for details) to perfectly present your print for years to come. Your picture is completed with our crystal clear and hard-wearing gallery grade Cast Acrylic, the ideal, safe alternative to glass. Dry mounting is a specialist process where the print is sealed to the backing board as part of the framing process. It gives an outstanding professional result, ensuring your print remains perfectly flat and in position for years to come. We do not dry mount limited edition or rare prints because customers often sell on these works for investment purposes and the new owner may choose an alternative frame. All limited edition and rare prints ordered with framing through our website are automatically framed without dry mounting. We therefore offer the following advice to protect your framed art: Hanging Due to the weight, we always recommend hanging using screws and rawplugs, rather than picture hooks. To avoid damage to the image and paper, place your picture out of direct sunlight and away from damp rooms such as a bathroom. Cleaning Although our gallery grade Cast Acrylic is an ideal alternative to glass, always clean with a fresh soft cloth and use a non-abrasive detergent if necessary. The same cleaning method should be used for the frame moulding if required.
