Peter Kennard biography in Biographies from the artzine on artrepublic.com

Peter Kennard is a hugely talented artist who works with photomontage, creating politically charged and visually arresting images.

Kennards re-working of Constable's rural masterpiece ‘The Haywain with Cruise Missiles’ created way back in 1982 was the original 'crude oil', and went on to provide the inspiration for Banksy's Crude Oils show.

Peter's work hangs not just in the Tate and Victoria and Albert galleries, but also in the Imperial War Museum and Science Museum. Peter Kennard has been creating art since the 1960's and also works as a lecturer at the Royal College of Art. Along with his collaborator, Cat Picton Phillipps he continues to produce his politically charged images.
