Nick Purser biography in Biographies from the artzine on artrepublic.comNick Purser always combined his love of doodling, drawing and painting with a commercial head. His early passion was for Renaissance artists like Michelangelo and Botticelli. Nick then began designing club flyers for friends and his influences became artists like Sydney Nolan and Kasimir Malevich. His beautiful limited edition Japanese inspired prints are just a small sample of his wide ranging body of wok. Nick worked at Good Looking Records as their in-house designer and illustrator and started painting scenes from raves. After that he headed a design team at a creative agency, working with many major music labels and clients like Kiss 100, Breakbeat Kaos and Snowbombing. Now he works freelance with Scrawl Collective. |
