Using a wide array of techniques drawn from art history, it is clear that McAttee is both a serious scholar and a streetwise spray artist (aka STET). Fusing comic pop, graffiti and psychedelic colours his somewhat surrealistic compositions have an incredible depth of colour that has to be seen to be believed. His visual vocabulary borrows from Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, graffiti art and abstract expressionism.

Having graduated from Central St Martin’s Collage London, in 1995 McAttee has had various solo exhibitions including ‘Suck it and See’ in Soho, London and ‘Off the Wall’ in 2003. He also runs workshops for Anglia Polytechnic University and youth workshops in Chelmsford and Danbury. His work is proving to be highly collectable having had commissions from Nike and fashion designer, Antonio Berardi.
