Eric Ravilious
Eric Ravilious was an outstanding artist, designer and illustrator and is now one of the most popular British artists of the 1930’s. Many of his works are seen as capturing a sense of Englishness that existed between the wars. The life of Eric Ravilious was tragically cut short, by a flying accident near Iceland in 1942.

‘Untitled 1950 Blue on Yellow’: Bring colour into your home with this large scale silkscreen
Mark Rothko used his distinctive style of large rectangles of colour in vertical juxtaposition, to convey a wide range of human emotions from foreboding and despair to hope and rapture. Here are two examples of his use of strong bold colours.
