Invisible Lines (Giclee Signed Limited Edition of 33) by Carne Griffiths £330 €472 $525 Carne Griffiths

Carne Griffiths

Carne Griffiths is the master of liquid drawing, working with calligraphy ink, tea, brandy and whisky. His beautiful dream-like images explore both human and floral forms, figuratively and in an abstract sense. These delicate drawings offer a sense of abandonment to the artist, and to the viewer an invitation to share a journey of escapism, awe and wonderment.

'Invisible Lines' is a beautiful signed limited edition on 310gsm Hahnemuhle German etching paper.

Carne has explained that this piece started as an investigation into automatic drawing, focusing on escapism, “There are incorporated elements such as reflected crystal facets, distortions which question our perception of what is real, what we can see and what is really there”
