A walk around the walls of our London gallery in articles from the artzine on artrepublic.com

Our London gallery always features our most collectable prints.  Here’s how the walls of our gallery are looking this week.

If you would like to know more about any of these pieces, please call 020 7240 7909 (Mon – Sat 11am to 7pm).

We can also deliver anywhere in South East England. Find out more.

On the far left is a fine example of Banksy’s signature artworks, the Rat’s. These pieces are all unsigned, stamped editions. From the top we have ‘Gangsta Rat’ which is an edition of 350, ‘Because I’m Worthless’ and at the bottom ‘Welcome To Hell’, both of which are editions of 175.

In the middle of the picture is one of the true highlights of our current collection, titled ‘Stories of Forbidden Love’ this extraordinary hand signed unique work on paper is by the internationally acclaimed street artists Faile.

Next up we have work from two of London’s cheekiest characters Pure Evil & Goldie. ‘Bunny Fingers Gold Leaf’ is exactly what it sounds like, a hand sprayed stencil of bunny fingers with a healthy going over of gold leaf. Below is Goldie’s ‘Pump Doll’. The superbly executed silkscreen is on a seriously think sheet of aluminium and has paint thrown all over it to make no piece the same.

On the wall to the far right we have a collection of brand new works by Brighton artist Ben Allen. These three works have much more edge to them than his previous work, coupled with the fact they are very small edition runs we don’t expect these to be on the walls for long.

An homage to artists old and new with this wall. Featured on the left & right are the very rare, very collectable ‘Sources of Pop Art V and VI’ set by Sir Peter Blake. Mind-blowing print quality and with Blake’s signature say no more.

Top centre, is another work from the godfather of pop art, a very limited, completely sold out edition titled ‘The First Print Target’. This huge, impressive piece was taken from a painting produced in 1961.

Last but not least a brand new work from artrepublic’s very own Lidia De Pedro. ‘Return of Spring’ is another De Pedro classic that will not be around for long – partly down to the fact there are only 25 of them.

To find out more about any of the pieces above, please call artrepublic London on +44 (0)20 7240 7909 or call into our gallery at 42 New Compton Street, London, WC2H 8DA (open Mon – Sat 11am to 7pm). Click here for maps to both our artrepublic galleries.
