Fresh from his world record setting Shutter Font exhibition, Ben Eine makes a trip across the pond for The A - Z of Change. Eine will showcase his vibrant lettering with a new body of canvas pieces and will undoubtedly make his mark on the city with some awesome street pieces. For this latest body of work on canvas, Eine has used a combination of silkscreen and hand-spray techniques to create vibrant pieces containing powerful imagery of individuals standing up against the status quo, a message all too appropriate in today’s times given the unstable political climate in various countries around the globe. Vandal, graffiti writer, street artist, fine artist, Eine has over twenty years experience of drawing a crowd and is internationally recognized for his super-sized lettering in urban areas. Eine, the former master printer at Pictures On Walls publishing house, takes deceptively simple typography to a new level with iconic lettering which graces storefront shutters and city walls throughout the world. Eine has enjoyed successful group and solo shows at galleries throughout London, Scandinavia and the US and has participated in numerous art events and festivals, including Santa’s Ghetto and Nuart in 2007. His work has been featured in numerous books, magazines and other publications. Eine most recently entered the Guinness Book of World Records for hand-pulling the most colours (78) in a silk-screen print.
